Hi, I'm Tyler

I’m a college student at Appalachian State University, majoring in Risk Management and Insurance with a minor in Political Science and a focus on Pre-Law. I’ve always been drawn to work that blends strategy, service, and real-world impact, and that’s exactly the direction I’m working toward in my career.

My Story

Over the past few years, I’ve built a strong foundation both inside and outside the classroom. From volunteering at food banks to working at my campus recreation center — first at the front desk, then in operations, and now as a facility supervisor — I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about consistency, integrity, and showing up for others even when it’s not easy.

I’m passionate about solving problems, building trust, and finding practical solutions that help people and businesses move forward. Whether it’s navigating insurance risks or supporting community service projects, I believe small efforts lead to big impact.

In addition to my academic work, I’m an active member of the Appalachian Law Alliance and the Appalachian State Politics Club. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified and always looking for ways to grow personally and professionally.

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, or working on new goals. I’m a firm believer that success isn’t just about where you end up — it’s about how you get there and who you become along the way.

Thanks again for stopping by. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to learn, contribute, and keep moving forward.
